The Twiggy Mac Reunion

On September 11th, 2013 I was invited to attend a private event at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. Three decades after Apple’s Macintosh was born, an old prototype Macintosh reunited members of the original Macintosh development team who gathered to see a functional prototype Macintosh with a 5.25″ Twiggy drive and chat about old times together at Apple. The event was put together by Gabreal Franklin, former president of Mac software company Encore Systems, and Apple employee #12 Daniel Kottke. Present were many greats including Kawasaki, Hertzfeld, Wiggington, Kottke, Espinoza, Holt, Kenyon, Mannock, Kenyon, Woz and others. I brought my 5D and here are some of the photos. Read more about the event over at CNET.
