A/UX (Apple Unix) was Apple’s implementation of the Unix operating system for Macintosh computers. Running on Macintosh II, Quadra and Centris computers, A/UX required a 68k-based Macintosh with an FPU and a paged memory management unit (PMMU). The last version of A/UX was released 1995.
