The PowerBook 145 was released in 1992 following the 140 model. It was marketed as being ‘designed for those who want solid Macintosh performance and flexibility in a powerful, take-it-wherever-you-work notebook computer’, and came with an intergrated trackball/palm rest, standard-size keyboard and a full path-width display. It also came with a built in floppy disk drive that supported Macintosh, MS-DOS, OS/2 and ProDOS formats.
